CNN-IBN is a reputed English News Channel. They should take care of the spelling of English words displayed on screen. Recently, the luncheon hosted by U.S. President, Barack Obama to honour our Indian Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, the programme was telecast live by CNN-IBN. When Barack Obama stated "INDIA was an indispensable strategic partner", these words were displayed by CNN-IBN on screen as "India was an Indespensabe strategic partner" The word indispensable was mis-spelt as indespensable. Today,
(5th Jan 10), while telecasting the news about the stripping of medals awarded to tainted Police Officials like Rathore, a question was raised on screen whether KPS Gill will be stripped of Padma Shri Award? The word "Padma" was mis-spelt as "Padam shri award". Such kind of mis-spelling of English words must be avoided by a reputed channel like CNN-IBN.
