For some time now DJ Leggs has been representing this Oldschool Archives thing, when asked about what it is or what it stands for. Leggs replies that Oldschool Archives is a structure that he came up with 5 years ago for sharing classic Hip Hip, funk soul and break beats online with Other DJ's with the use of an MP3 Blast originally dubbed "Oldschool Archives MP3 Blast" And each blast had music pertaining to an appropriate era of the aggressive stages of Hip Hop, Some focusing on "Disco rap" others focusing on "Electro" or "Ultra Rare" Or Live tapped segments". Leggs focused on only sharing the classic hard to find and rare records that many DJ's Either didnt know about or were asking about or long forgot about. Mainly because a lot of DJ's were having trouble finding them online due to their scarcity or did not have the Vinyl to rip their own copies. And simply some DJ's lacked the art of 'Digitally digging". There just isn't enough classic especially hard to find music being shared or cycled around the music community besides all this current stuff today, which you can aquire anywhere. After doing a blast every season or so of latest edition on Email-blasts to thousands of Blogs and DJ's and on Myspace Bulletin boards. Leggs then decided to create a light weight blog in 2009 Under the same name Oldschool Archives and he again re-introduced a lot of the same blasts for download and always would include some History/commentary on each blasts with brief subject matter, discussions and editorials; written from himself or info used in popular Historical etho's about the music artists. After a while things started to slow down not much was being sent out or posted for a couple of years. Now Oldschool Archives will be bringing you the Radio mixshows, again with all your favorite main stream Hip Hop classics as well as many many rare and sort after joints. We will lean toward the rareties as that is the theme To "OSA" in the first place. Look for it Around Jan Or Feb of 2013 where it will all begin and each show posted probably Weekly or Bi weekly. Now if you have not visited the site, we recommend you do that now as new&  more consistent updates for music, history and culture are starting up again.
